Bishop Watterson hadn't done well against St. Francis DeSales recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against the Stallions by a score of 3-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won six games in a row.

The win didn't come easy: St. Francis DeSales scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 26-24.

George Smith paced Bishop Watterson's offense, picking up 18 kills. Smith got some help from AJ Harvey and his 37 assists. Harvey also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Nick Powell, racking up three apiece.
