Basketball Game Preview: San Lorenzo Grizzlies vs. Mt. Eden Monarchs

San Lorenzo is 1-9 against Mt. Eden since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The San Lorenzo Grizzlies will venture away from home to square off against the Mt. Eden Monarchs at 7:00 p.m.

San Lorenzo came up short against Albany on Saturday, falling 66-40. The contest marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mt. Eden posted their closest win since December 10, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-41 victory over Arroyo.

San Lorenzo's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8. As for Mt. Eden, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

San Lorenzo came up short against Mt. Eden when the teams last played back in January, falling 59-46. Can San Lorenzo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
