Basketball Recap: United Comes Up Short

United was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Wellsville Tigers at home by a 56-40 margin. If the Golden Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 59-52 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

United's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Wellsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. United will take on Columbiana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wellsville, they will challenge Barnesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
