Softball Recap: William Penn Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for William Penn's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Central York Panthers on Monday. The Bearcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

William Penn's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Central York, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. William Penn will welcome Red Lion at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central York, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeastern at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Panthers' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while the Bobcats have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
