CJ Mascaro put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

Mascaro's strong effort led American Fork over Farmington and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
