Soccer Recap: Provo Triumphs

Provo won the last time they faced Lehi and things went their way on Friday too. The Provo Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lehi Pioneers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

They hit Lehi with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hyrum Allen, Fred Mendez Ortega, and Tony Haro.

Provo now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lehi, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Provo will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Lone Peak at 7:00 p.m. Lone Peak will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Provo surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lehi, they will head out to face off against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lehi likes a good challenge.
