Baseball Recap: San Mateo Comes Up Short

San Mateo lost against Terra Nova on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bearcats lost 12-2 to the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bearcats have suffered since April 8th.

San Mateo saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyce Copus, who went 1-for-2 with one run. Ben Delfin also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

San Mateo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Terra Nova, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-5-1.
