Volleyball Recap: Plainville Comes Up Short

Plainville lost against Victoria back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cardinals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Victoria found their leader in sophomore Lyla Rodger, who had 15 digs. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Rodger.

Plainville's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Victoria, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Coming up, Plainville will head out on the road to square off against Trego at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Victoria, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Quinter on the 4th.
