Basketball Recap: Robstown Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Robstown can now relate to. They were beaten by the Navarro Panthers 66-38 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Cottonpickers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 640th, while the Panthers are ranked 303rd).

Robstown's defeat dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Navarro, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Navarro beat Robstown by a score of 66-38 on Tuesday.
