Basketball Recap: Falmouth Comes Up Short

Falmouth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 83-26 loss at the hands of the Freeport Falcons. The Navigators lost against the Falcons in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 36-34 score last time.

Falmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Freeport, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Falmouth will challenge Windham at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Freeport, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Freeport Falcons challenge the Mt. Ararat Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
