Basketball Recap: Byhalia Has No Trouble Against Walnut

The Byhalia Indians didn't have too much trouble with the Walnut Wildcats on Tuesday as they won 71-55.

Despite the loss, Walnut still got an impressive performance from Logan Wilbanks, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 33 points and three steals. The matchup was Wilbanks' third in a row with at least 24 points. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Cardwell, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds.

Byhalia now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Walnut, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Byhalia will host Byers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Walnut, they will welcome Ripley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
