Softball Recap: Rockford Auburn Takes a Loss

Rockford Auburn suffered their biggest defeat since May 11, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against the North Boone Vikings, falling 7-1. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Rockford Auburn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Parr, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Rockford Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for North Boone, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

While Rockford Auburn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
