Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Lakes). They secured a 53-49 W over the Westfield Bulldogs on Friday. This was payback for the Seahawks, who suffered a 58-53 defeat the last time these two teams met.

South Lakes' victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-9. As for Westfield, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

South Lakes will venture away from home to challenge Chantilly at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Westfield, they will welcome James Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
