Basketball Recap: Monticello's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

Monticello lost against Williamsville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sages lost 61-41 to the Bullets. The loss put an end to the Sages' undefeated start to the season.

Williamsville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Sanders, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Those 16 points gave Sanders a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Root, who shot 42% from the field en route to 15 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Monticello fell to 2-1. As for Williamsville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Monticello will square off against Heyworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Williamsville, they have already played their next game, a 46-33 loss against Calvary on the 6th.
