Having just played yesterday, the Cypress Creek Coyotes will jump right back in to play the Clearwater Tornadoes at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Cypress Creek is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Norwayne just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 65-39 to the Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 315th in Florida, while the Bobcats are ranked 23rd in Ohio).
Meanwhile, Clearwater's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Sumner. The loss put an end to the Tornadoes' undefeated start to the season.
