Oroville has gone a perfect 4-0 against Las Plumas recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Thunderbirds at 6:30 p.m. Oroville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Oroville took on Foothill on Monday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cougars.

Oroville was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 27-25, 22-25, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Las Plumas lost 3-0 to Shasta last Monday. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Shasta scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-18.

Las Plumas' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Oroville, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

Oroville took their win against Las Plumas in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
