Soccer Recap: Nettleton Takes a Loss

Nettleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Valley View Blazers, falling 5-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Nettleton were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Hutch Bristow, who's now up to five this season.

Nettleton's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Valley View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-2.

Nettleton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Marion on the 17th. As for Valley View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Paragould on the 17th.
