Crosspointe Christian Academy had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They blew past the Maranatha Baptist Crusaders, posting a 78-29 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crosspointe Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than William Yeiter, who went 11 for 18 to rack up 22 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Yeiter a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Phil Fitzsimmons, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Crosspointe Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Crosspointe Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Maranatha Baptist, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
