Softball Recap: Braswell Comes Up Short

Braswell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Coppell Cowboys. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bengals of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Braswell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Coppell, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7-1.

Coming up, Braswell will welcome Hebron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Braswell has given up an average of 7.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Coppell, they are taking a road trip to challenge Flower Mound at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
