Volleyball Recap: McKinley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Central Christian Comets.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-13, 25-10.

Central Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sarah Miller, who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave Miller a new career-high. Saralyn Stjernholm was another key player, getting ten digs.

McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Central Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

McKinley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wellsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
