Recap: Ysleta Indians vs. Del Valle Conquistadores
The Ysleta Indians lost against the Del Valle Conquistadores back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ysleta took a 47-28 bruising from Del Valle. Ysleta has struggled against Del Valle recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Ysleta saw an underclassman step up: Mary Raygoza scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Raygoza has scored all season. Janae Atkins was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Ysleta's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Del Valle, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-14 record this season.
Ysleta will head out on the road to challenge Hanks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hanks will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for Del Valle, they will be playing at home against Bel Air at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bel Air is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road.
