Baseball Recap: Centaurus Triumphs

Centaurus owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Boulder Panthers 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Tavian Gomez looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Centaurus' victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Will Larson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Centaurus now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Boulder, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Centaurus has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 loss against Northfield on the 18th. As for Boulder, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Monarch on the 18th.
