Softball Recap: Jennings Bulldogs vs. Merryville Panthers

Jennings won the last time they faced Merryville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Jennings Bulldogs put the hurt on the Merryville Panthers with a sharp 12-2 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by ten runs or more this season.

Jenna Morvant made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.
