Football Game Recap: Long Reach vs. Glenelg

If Long Reach was expecting to get some payback for the 49-19 defeat against Glenelg the last time they met in October of last year, then they were left disappointed. Long Reach was completely outmatched, falling 43-6 to Glenelg. The lax defense was uncharacteristic for the Lightning, who until this game were averaging 19.78 points allowed.

The loss dropped Long Reach's record to 3-7. The victory makes it two in a row for Glenelg and bumps their record up to 6-3.

Long Reach does not have any more games currently scheduled. As for Glenelg, they will face off against Seneca Valley at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. The Gladiators have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
