Baseball Recap: Park Comes Up Short

Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Ridge Raptors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raptors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 back in April.

Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for East Ridge, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Park will welcome Roseville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.93 runs per game on average), something the Wolfpack will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for East Ridge, they will venture away from home to challenge Cretin-Derham Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
