Coal City entered their tilt with Lisle on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Lisle Lions 53-38. Given the Coalers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while the Lions are ranked 612th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Coal City is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Lisle, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
