Baseball Recap: Rockcastle County Takes a Loss

Rockcastle County lost against Somerset back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rockets fell 7-4 to the Briar Jumpers. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rockcastle County's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Somerset, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-19 record this season.

Rockcastle County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somerset, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Somerset Christian at 6:00 p.m. on June 30. The timing is sure in the Briar Jumpers' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Cougars have been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
