It was a good run, but Hesperia Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their 21-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University Trojans. Considering the last time the Patriots couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Hesperia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 23-6. As for University, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Hesperia Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Western on the 11th. As for University, they will head out on the road to square off against Portola at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
