Baseball Game Preview: Tabor Academy Seawolves vs. Rivers Red Wings

The Tabor Academy Seawolves will head out to square off against the Rivers Red Wings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tabor Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Rivers will be coming in after a loss.

Tabor Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over St. George's. The victory continues a trend for the Seawolves in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Rivers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Austin Prep.

Tabor Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Rivers, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

Tabor Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Rivers in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 8-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seawolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
