Volleyball Preview: Fremont Firebirds vs. Lynbrook Vikings        
        
		
            
 Fremont is 0-10 against Lynbrook since October of 2021 but things could change  on Wednesday. The Firebirds will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings  at 6:45  p.m. Fremont will be strutting in after a  victory while Lynbrook will be coming in after a  loss.
Having struggled with five  defeats in a row, Fremont  turned things around against MacDonald  on Monday. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Condor.
 Fremont got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 36-34, 24-26,  25-17.
Meanwhile, Lynbrook came up short against Gunn on Monday and fell  3-1. The Vikings have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 While Gunn got the win, Lynbrook sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 19-25,  28-26.
 Lynbrook's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Fremont, the  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 7-15.
 Fremont couldn't quite get it done against Lynbrook in their previous meeting  back in September as they fell  3-1. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  the Vikings'  Jacey Tseng, who  had nine  digs and four  aces.
