Softball Recap: Tea Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harrisburg, Tea was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Sturgis Brown Scoopers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since April 29, 2024.

Tea has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Sturgis Brown, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Sturgis Brown has already played their next matchup, a 17-7 defeat against Harrisburg on the 2nd. Hopefully Tea paid attention to the Scoopers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Scoopers on Saturday.
