Volleyball Recap: Plainview Takes a Loss

Plainview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coronado Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 21-25, 25-22.

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Coronado, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainview will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lubbock at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Coronado, they will square off against Caprock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
