Football Recap: Summit Falls Short of Agoura in the Playoffs

Summit and Agoura squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Summit had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Chargers 35-7. The contest marked the SkyHawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jack Arany threw for 56 yards on perfect 7-for-7 passing. Dominic Andujo was his top target, picking up 72 receiving yards. On the ground, Josh Olivas rushed for 54 yards.

Gavin Gray continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Agoura, throwing for 292 yards and four TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. Gray has become a key player for the Chargers: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

With the loss, Summit broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3. As for Agoura, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Agoura, they will face off against Orange Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
