Baseball Recap: Wilson Christian Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Wilson Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 12-2 to the Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles on Thursday. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Austin Coughlin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Cape Fear Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.

Wilson Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-1 loss against Faith Christian on the 8th. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Freedom Christian Academy on the 8th.
