Christopher Schubbe posted a new career-high in stolen bases on Monday. He wasn't messing around, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The matchup was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Schubbe's strong effort led Crete-Monee over Thornton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors are a perfect 10-0 against the Wildcats going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
