Volleyball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park was the 2-0 winner over Maine West when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Giants fell 2-0 to the Warriors on Tuesday.

While Highland Park ultimately came up short, they really made Maine West work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Maine West, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Highland Park will host Maine East at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Giants are facing the Blue Demons at the right time seeing as the Blue Demons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Maine West, they will square off against Vernon Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
