Recap: Drew Dragons vs. Burton Pumas
Drew scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Burton Pumas as the Drew Dragons made off with a 24-6 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Akira Richardson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits (he also only allowed one walk). Richardson was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Tejas Strand was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kyle Ebrado, who scored four runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
On Burton's side, Juan Sanchez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Zimry Rucker, who scored a run and stole two bases.
