Volleyball Recap: Baraga Takes a Loss

Baraga was the 1-0 winner over Dollar Bay when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Bays by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Vikings fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bays since Friday.

Baraga's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Dollar Bay, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Baraga and Dollar Bay will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Vikings see the court they'll take on Lake Linden-Hubbell at 6:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Dollar Bay, their break will end when they face Chassell at 4:00 p.m. on September 2.
