The West Caldwell Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Chase Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. West Caldwell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

West Caldwell will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Hibriten, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Warriors won by a goal and slipped past the Panthers 1-0. The victory was familiar territory for West Caldwell, who have now won three matches in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Andy Galindo, who's now up to 17 this season.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Chase finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against Patton, falling 3-0. Chase's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

West Caldwell's win bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Chase, they now have a losing record of 5-6-3.

West Caldwell took their victory against Chase in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 5-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
