Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Mogadore

Mogadore extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping them up to 15-6. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lake Center Christian Tiger. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Mogadore was led to victory by Gracie Shull and Sophia Runion. Shull had 17 digs and two aces, while Runion had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Runion has posted over her last seven matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Mogadore was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matchups.

As for Lake Center Christian, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 15th.

Despite the loss, Lake Center Christian still got an impressive performance from Kamden Maninga, who had 17 digs and one assist.

Coming up, Mogadore will be playing at home against Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Center Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Open Door Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
