Soccer Game Preview: Millard West vs. Omaha Westside

Millard West hasn't had much luck against Omaha Westside recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Millard West is taking a road trip to square off against Omaha Westside at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Tuesday, Millard West didn't have quite enough to beat Omaha South and fell 2-1. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Millard West's Julian Hernandez and Omaha South's Gerardo Mares and Damian Fierro were all carded.

Millard West's goal came courtesy of Carter DiDomenico, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Omaha Westside managed to keep up with Papillion-LaVista South until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Omaha Westside lost 4-1 to Papillion-LaVista South.

Millard West couldn't quite get it done against Omaha Westside in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can Millard West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
