Volleyball Recap: Prentice Comes Up Short

Prentice lost against Abbotsford back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buccaneers fell 3-1 to the Falcons.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 25-12.

Despite the defeat, Prentice saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Piper Heikkinen had nine digs and three aces.

Prentice's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Abbotsford, they pushed their record up to 20-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Prentice will take on rival Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Abbotsford is set to square off against their familiar foe Chequamegon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
