Volleyball Recap: Walled Lake Northern Takes a Loss

Walled Lake Northern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Novi Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on October 11th.

Walled Lake Northern's defeat dropped their record down to 19-16-1. As for Novi, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-13 record this season.

Walled Lake Northern has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Grosse Pointe South on the 29th. As for Novi, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Detroit Country Day on the 29th.
