Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Christian Brothers

Christian Brothers proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Inderkum Tigers 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Josh Lewis tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Henry Ramsey, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double was his first of the season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Christian Brothers, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Inderkum, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
