Football Recap: Palm Springs Extends Home Winning Streak to Five + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Palm Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 33-21 victory over the Rancho Mirage Rattlers on Thursday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Rattlers are ranked 493rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop Miller produced another solid performance throwing for 369 yards and four TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 56 yards and one score on only seven carries. Tyler Hebrard was Miller's top target, picking up 141 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

When it comes to explaining why Rancho Mirage lost, don't look at Julian Hernandez. Despite the final result, he rushed for 153 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 60 yards and one touchdown. Jeremiah Johnson was in the mix as well, providing the Rattlers with two scores.

Palm Springs pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Rancho Mirage, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Palm Springs will host Claremont at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Wolfpack will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. Rancho Mirage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
