Volleyball Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Harrison Wildcats, falling 3-0.

Middletown took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 25-16.

Harrison got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucy Longworth out in front who had eight digs and two assists. Stella Whitis also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Harrison, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harrison, they will face off against Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
