West Central barely beat McCook Central/Montrose the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the Fighting Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

West Central never let McCook Central/Montrose on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 27-25.

West Central's record now sits at 14-5. As for McCook Central/Montrose, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
