Basketball Recap: Twin Rivers Comes Up Short

Twin Rivers lost against Puxico back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Twin Rivers Royals were dealt a 77-36 loss at the hands of the Puxico Indians. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Indians are ranked 38th).

Twin Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Puxico, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-1.

While Twin Rivers had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
