Milton proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the North Quincy Raiders 4-3. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 13-10 loss the last time these two teams met.

Milton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for North Quincy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Milton will take on Natick at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Quincy, they will face off against Franklin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
