Volleyball Recap: Immaculate Heart Academy Wins Going Away Against Morris Catholic

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Immaculate Heart Academy had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Morris Catholic Crusaders 3-0. The Blue Eagles haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Immaculate Heart Academy was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-8.

Immaculate Heart Academy found their leader in sophomore Kristen Lee, who had four digs and two aces. Lee is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 24 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Fowler, who had five digs and five aces.

Immaculate Heart Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Immaculate Heart Academy's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Morris Catholic, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

As of now, neither Immaculate Heart Academy nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
